Report Cards
...Not Just for Students!

“Mom, Dad! Do you want to see my report card?” This should sound very familiar to anyone with a student at home. We look over that document to see how the youngster measured up to the standards set by the school in both academics and attitude, and then have a heart-to-heart conversation about places where more effort should be applied. There is usually room for celebration as well, since our kids work hard and we monitor their improvement.
This same process applies to our schools and our district. There are standards set by the state, and we work very hard to meet them. You may not know that, as patrons, you have easy access to each building’s report card by looking online at the State Department of Education’s website. You’ll be able to see our Gold Stars for excellence, our accreditation status, and our progress since the last reporting period.
To make this process even easier, please look for the “Building Report Card” link on the right side of each building’s homepage. The District Report Card link is in the same spot on our front page. For those who would like to see the Report Cards but don’t have internet access on a computer, you may call your school’s office to have a copy made and sent home with your child.
We are proud of our students and teachers, and hope that you will share the good news about all of our schools with your friends and families.
