Kindergarten - Here we come!!

Kindergarten round up/screening was held on April 10 & 11 at Lecompton and Perry Elementary Schools, respectively. Approximately 63 children and their parents attended these events. Future students have the opportunity to visit the kindergarten classrooms and participate in a variety of pre-academic skills screening procedures. Parents tour the building and discuss procedures with the school's Principal and Counselor. This event is a wonderful opportunity to gather information about the up coming school year, so that the transition into the school setting is a positive experience for all participants. We welcome the class of 2021 to the Perry-Lecompton school district.
