Okay - I know it is January and we still have an entire semester of school left, but...the idea of morphing into summer reading in May - just didn't seem right. The 2008 theme, Metamorphosis @ PLHS Library, promises to be exciting. So grab your sunglasses - let's check out the summer reading buzz!
Of course, there will be new opportunities to say "Don’t Bug Me, I’m Reading" with all of the new Metamorphic titles bought specifically for the summer reading program.
We will allow look at ways to change ourselves outside and in. The changes could be as simple as learning simple self defense techniques, practice manners, or volunteering within our community. How about a chance to learn how to decorate on a dime, set up a blog, or investigate other new web 2.0 tools. We'll have speakers and hands-on activities along with books!
Each week, will be something different and new. Trust me - PLHS Library will be the "in" place to be this summer - start making your plans to join us today!!
